Material & Structural Design
PP is a highly pure type of plastic used in the manufacturing of these baskets. The chemical resistance, mechanical strength, and stability of these plastics are incredible. This material adheres to all food contact benchmarks set by the FDA, CE, and LFGB. Foodstuffs and hygiene-sensitive products are also assured to be secure in contact with it.
An additional benefit is the material's long-term exposure profile. It remains stable at the harshest temperature extremes during continuous operation from -40°C to 110°C. The basket retains its shape and function during drying, freezing, and brief exposure to a temperature spike.
The 10mm holes at the bottom and sides of the tray, between the grid patterns, allow enhanced airflow, resulting in faster moisture drying and a rapid increase in the drying rate. The vented design increases contact with the atmospheric airflow, reducing the drying and curing cycle time compared to solid trays.
Interlocking and Modular Shape
